FOOD SAFETY AND HYGIENE DURING COVID-19 AND OTHER FORCE MAJEURES:
The world has been facing unprecedented threats from various Force Majeure issues, such as H1N1, Ebola Virus & the most recent COVID-19. At Olympic Trading, we have resorted to following advices issued by the Ministry of Health, Oman (MOH-Oman) and also by the World Health Organization (WHO) with reference to safety as one of the ways to reduce disease transmission.
Amidst such a crisis, it is essential for food and beverage professionals to maintain good hygiene practices to mitigate the risk. Since such risks are constantly evolving and changing with time, it is critical for us to realign and upgrade our systems and processes to keep risk at bay.
The essential objective of this training is to study and implement the revised structure and basic requirements of Food Safety and Hygiene w.r.t COVID-19 and enable our employees to implement food safety standards to improve the effectiveness of Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and add value to the organization. This training also helps us demonstrate our compliance to the standard’s requirement.
